Director of QualityA non status quo machine shop and foundry in Northern Indiana is looking for a technology driven Director of Quality. Given the growth history and expectations for the company, the individual selected for this role will serve as the quality leader/catalyst dedicated to achieving the company's superior quality and strategic goals.The primary task of the DOQ is to lead the company to quality and profitability growth, while at the same time driving sustainable long term client relationships. In collaboration with the Executive Team, as well as other key managers of the company, the DOQ will continually refine the overall strategic quality plan for the corporation.The DOQ will be responsible to assure quality products throughout the organization, management of the quality budget, input on company budget and technological advances in inspection and testing methods. Internally, he/she will attract, lead, motivate, and retain the highest caliber quality professionals at all levels of the organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for training and coaching for maximum results and for providing visibility of "quality scorecard" and effectiveness to all stakeholders at all times. The DOQ will also have comfortable knowledge of all aspects of operations and departments. The position of DOQ requires an accomplished leader with [removed phone] years of total business experience in the manufacturing industry.
